The quality control process for a smart helmet is necessarily more complex than for a traditional one, and I have personally designed our multi-layered QC system at SPIRIT to ensure total reliability. It operates on three levels. Level one is our standard, rigorous impact safety testing, ensuring the helmet's structural integrity is never compromised. Level two is our electronics hardware QC. Every component—from the circuit board to the battery—is tested upon arrival, and every finished helmet undergoes a full functional check of its lights, buttons, and charging port in our dedicated electronics lab. Level three is our software and connectivity QC. We test each unit for Bluetooth pairing speed and signal strength, and for smart helmets with advanced features, we run a diagnostic to ensure the accelerometer and other sensors are perfectly calibrated. This comprehensive, multi-layered approach guarantees that every smart helmet we ship is safe, durable, and electronically flawless.
