While our dedicated quality control center and testing lab get a lot of attention, I believe the true strength of our quality system at SPIRIT lies on the production line itself. It’s a commitment that is ingrained in every single one of our team members. Our quality control is not a single checkpoint at the end; it's a continuous process. It starts with the rigorous inspection of all incoming raw materials—every batch of EPS beads and every roll of polycarbonate sheet is checked against our high standards. During the in-mold process, our operators constantly monitor temperature and pressure to ensure a perfect bond. As each bike helmet comes off the line, it undergoes a multi-point visual inspection to check for even the slightest cosmetic flaw. Our assembly teams are trained to check the function of every buckle and retention system. We conduct random batch tests throughout the day, pulling helmets off the line and subjecting them to the same rigorous tests we use for certification. This relentless, on-the-line focus on perfection is how we can produce hundreds of thousands of units of a bike helmet and ensure that the last one is just as safe and flawless as the first.
